We all know Golden State is killing it with their fiery splash brothers, but don't forget about Portland. The Trail Blazers have been lighting it up thanks to dynamic duo Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum now evening out the numbers in comparison to the Warriors.
Stephen Curry has shown an outstanding amount of power with the ball in hand, but Damian Lillard is a close comparison to him. He has been incredible, averaging a ridiculous 35.8 points over his last five games. To put that into perspective, no NBA player has averaged more points in a five-game span. He's also the only the NBA player to score 30 or more points in five consecutive games this season.
Curry tied Kyle Korver's record with at least one 3-pointer in 127 consecutive games, a record he'll hold outright after Thursday's game in Orlando. He's simply dominating the field in fantasy leagues this season, returning No. 1 value in roto and nearly all points leagues while playing 34.1 minutes per game. He's made 260 threes this season, which is just 26 shy of his own record, and the Warriors have 26 games remaining.
In my opinion I think that Stephen should we theMVP award because he is the the top of his career but Lillard is just starting. Lillard is averaging close to Curry PPG, even tho this is his 4th season. Lillard as other chances in the future to show that he deserves to be the MVP.
